A skilled massage therapist strives to create a comfortable and relaxing experience for you. The massage room is designed for tranquility, featuring soft background music, a plush and supportive table, and the gentle, healing glow of Himalayan salt walls. The soothing scent of essential oils fills the air, enhancing your sense of calm. Every session is customized to your needs, using expert techniques to ease tension, improve circulation, and restore balance. As you unwind, stress fades away, leaving you feeling refreshed, renewed, and deeply relaxed.
During a therapeutic massage, clients typically disrobe to their comfort level. While most choose to undress completely, some prefer to leave on items such as underwear. Rest assured, you will be properly draped at all times to maintain your privacy and comfort. We encourage you to wear whatever makes you feel at ease, as your relaxation and well-being are our top priorities.
Your massage therapist will consult with you to create a treatment plan tailored to your needs. A full-body massage typically includes work from your feet up to your shoulders, neck, and head. Rest assured, only appropriate areas will be addressed, ensuring a professional and respectful experience focused on your well-being.
Yes, lotions or oils are typically used to reduce friction and prevent skin irritation, ensuring a more comfortable experience. They also offer additional benefits, such as skin hydration. If you have any allergies or sensitivities, please inform your massage therapist so appropriate alternatives can be provided.
A massage feels different for everyone, depending on the type of massage and the techniques used. Generally, it creates a soothing and relaxing sensation as tension and stress melt away. Gentle, flowing strokes may feel comforting and calming, while deeper pressure can provide relief to tight or sore muscles. Some areas might feel tender if there’s built-up tension, but the overall experience should be pleasant and therapeutic. Many people describe it as a mix of relaxation and rejuvenation, leaving them feeling lighter, refreshed, and more balanced.
It's possible to feel a bit sore after a massage, especially if deep tissue techniques or areas of tension were addressed. This is usually a result of your muscles releasing built-up tightness. Any soreness is typically mild and should subside within a day or two. To help reduce this, staying hydrated and gently stretching afterward can aid in the recovery process. If you’re concerned about soreness or have specific areas you’d like to focus on or avoid, be sure to communicate with your therapist before the session so they can adjust the pressure and techniques accordingly.
We do not do incisional drainage. Incisional drainage is a modality commonly done the first week after cosmetic surgery, and is common in Florida and California. This drainage forces fluid out of incisions made by surgery. Manual Lymphatic Drainage promotes the return of fluid from tissues and lymphatic vessels back into the circulatory system where it can be safely eliminated by our bodies natural processes. For post-op clients: we cannot treat you until all drains have been removed.
We offer a variety of massage modalities, ensuring you’ll find the perfect option tailored to your needs! Additionally, we have massage packages available, making it easier for everyone to enjoy the many benefits of regular massage. You can check out our pricing here.
