Professional Licensed Massage Therapist needed to join our award winning (and very busy) massage center. In addition to offering private massages, our LMT’s are offered a unique opportunity to work in our chiropractic office, alongside the doctors, promoting the health and wellness benefits of massage/chiropractic to patients -while building your client base.

Immerse Hydrospa & Massage is in the process of building CT's first hydrotherapy circuit. The center will attract clients from all over New England and will quickly become the 'go-to' place for wellness and recovery.

Our team is committed to providing top-notch experiences to all clients. The ideal candidate:

• Knowledge of Swedish and Deep Tissue Massage is required. (Knowledge of other various modalities preferred: Prenatal, Cupping, Sports, Hot Stone).
• Must have the ability to adjust pressure and/or technique based on each patient’s needs.
• Must be customer service oriented and able to communicate effectively with patients, doctors, and staff.
• Able to work directly with patients, alongside the doctor, during office hours and must be available at least one weekend day.
• Must emit a genuine, positive energy
• Maintain a clean, organized, and calming workspace.
• Adhere to hygiene and sanitation protocols to ensure a safe environment.
• Understands and believes in the healing benefits of massage therapy and bodywork.
• Attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Must hold a valid State of CT massage license (or currently enrolled in massage school)

• Must have excellent customer service and maintain a clean, friendly atmosphere.
• Must be comfortable designing and implementing social media marketing plans.

• Greeting clients, answering phone calls, scheduling appointments, processing payments, maintaining client records, providing information about spa services and products, and ensuring a positive customer experience at the front desk, often acting as the first point of contact for guests
• Ensuring consistency of service and safety protocols and guest satisfaction at all times 
• Acting as a resource to the spa team and guests to ensure the spa facility is well-stocked and tidy at all times 
• Provide continuous communication throughout each day, providing constructive information to the spa team 
• Manage water bar and locker room guest supply inventory to ensure everything is stocked and any needs are communicated immediately to the Spa Director 
• Ensure that any maintenance related issues are reported immediately to Spa Director 
• Provide detailed, personal care with each spa guest to ensure a 5-star guest service experience 
• Set up spa treatments according to protocol in advance of when they are needed
• Show a great eye for detail and use effective problem solving skills while monitoring the spa facility and spa guest experiences 
• Communicate with all guests in a positive and constructive tone to ensure it is well received 
• Follow all procedures for both opening and closing of the spa facility 
• Support safe work habits and a safe working environment at all times 
• Other duties and jobs may be assigned as needed by supervisor 

Available Shifts:

7 days a week: 8:00 am – 2:00 pm or 2:00 pm – 8:00 pm

Compensation:

Competitive Pay: $18.00 – $23.00 per hour

Competitive compensation will be discussed in interview based on qualifications. Pay scale will commensurate upon your experience.
